Not a Frantic-Friday.

"I can't be dead, I'm thinking."

ME:

Not a frantic day. Could've taken the bus somewhere, but the weather forecast was cold and damp, so I didn't. Now the sun is out!

On Wednesday, I got on the bus for a day-trip to Spokane and back. Took photos. Met Lisa in the pink candy shop. Hung out at Atticus. Good chats on the bus. Hopefully my interaction with Jess will help him find a counselor to help him with his trauma. Trauma is tricky. I think he opened up because I did.

There is wisdom in there somewhere...

Anyhoo... Thursday was like an early Turkey day without the turkey. Meatloaf lunch, snacks at Walter's (like salmon ), Swedish pancakes for supper.

Snuck in a visit to Donna. She talked about incest ...and forgiveness.

So. No bus today.

I bought my tickets to Costa Rica. Arrive there December 2nd. Come back January 28th. Two months! I purposely have been laying the groundwork for such a long visit. I have an idea how much money I need, some ideas where to stay, know about food, buses, culture, language... But two months is forever . I may not want to come back. But... I'm aware of that internal impulse as well.

The details of where I will stay are up in the air. I'm not too worried about that as I have numerous options if staying in a particular place doesn't work out. As I said ...been laying groundwork.

I'm not good at lists, but I already made a list of what to take and what needs to be arranged here beforehand. The more that is done now, the less stressful it will be later. But even that... I have options.

Ticket to LAX from here needs to be purchased next. Mustn't forget that detail!
