Ace of Water

I haven't blogged in ages. But today there were two major events of loss in my life. One of my favorite residents passed away, today. She had lung cancer, had been on hospice care, and death was certainly expected. Still, a loss. Till the end she was gracious, charming, and funny. I will miss her.

Also, I learned today that my Mermaid Cottage----a historic, iconic cottage near the Naples Pier has been bulldozed. It was yellow and white and I always thought of it as mine. What I would have if granted the money. It's real name was Sotto Vento ----soft winds.

May the soft winds continue to blow for my Mermaid Cottage and for Ida K.

I pulled the Ace of Water that tells me to go with the flow of the river as it makes its way down to the sea and to trust the wisdom of my own heart. That, I will surely do.
