I have disappointed my ghosts
*ButterflyR*

Depressions collect fears. Tears live in puddles. Seek sunshine and splash. KE

*Quill*

I have disappointed my ghosts

I have diappointed my ghosts.
They want more. I've little to offer.
My battery dims and my life?
Just spare change.

Answers they say.

I respond with buts:
         I don't know.
         I don't care.
You must ask the right qustion.

Eyes flicker, wink out;
grey slinks away.

We come back tomorrow.

But

tomorrow's yesterday's today
and I can't offer substance for shadow,
meaning for nonsense,
a reason for not joining them yet.

I have questions myself.

None of them pressing,
I'll just

rest

and rummage through memories
with the patience of Fades,
of one already fading.

Not sure! But I post it because Alfred liked the first lines. I chose the first line as title until I find a better one. May be awhile...
