I'm still alive!

Okay, barely. Well, not literally. Life happens and my creativity takes a back seat to things like holidays, work, failed vacations, and retaining walls. I've been working on a short story that follows a character (who may or may not be familiar, depending on what of mine you have read) and I have been pecking away at it slowly.

I've not had time to read anything that anyone on WDC has written and, for that, I feel sad. There seem to be quite a few brilliant writers on here and there is a plethora of great stories out there. I really hope to put aside some time to wander around and read a few choice bits, then perhaps finish my own story and shamelessly plug it. :)

Also, I've acquired an iPad. It's not the greatest purchase I've ever made because I don't really know niche in my life it fits. It's definitely a fun toy, though...and I've bought a word processing app that will, it appears, allow me to write no matter where I am. This makes me grin.
