What am I Doing Here?

One year and this is all I can say?

One year ago from today was my last blog. Gee how time flies when one is bored or sleeping. Guess what! I am still tired.
I signed up for a hot air balloon ride in December, '10 and have yet to feel the thrill of air through my hair and the knotting of my stomach as we lift off. Two cancellations due to air conditions that the FAA says is unsafe. The air speed might have taken us to Oklahoma. I think that is a bit much. If I can I'll let you know August 10, '11.
Sir Thomas, my cat has been taking chemo for cancer. This cat has a heart of gold and the courage of a lion. He really is the best.
Family, well, there is a twist, but I'll just say that they can move to Austin and my feelings will not be hurt.
Poor old Texas is in the midst of a really horrible heat spell, due to Mr. High Pressure air. I welcome any rain, except the radioactive kind. My yard looks terrible and I just don't like to go out in the heat to play move the water hose around to the dry spots. It looks like brown grass will be in for a while.
I have not been interpreting for a while. Gee I hope that I can do a little work because it is nice to get out and use my skills.
I will try to blog more. This is just general chit-chat. If anyone reads this and thinks that it is garbage-junk or worse and want better stuff, email me and let me know. (Not that there is much to talk about.) I waited for my one year anniversary just for the heck of it. Who knows, maybe the next time I blog, it will be something special.
