Hump Day 7/20

I am sitting here in the late afternoon. I want to write something profound. I want to have some kind of enlightenment that will give me a great idea, or something to spark the need to research and start writing again. I have a book in the works, two in fact. I have written and rewritten and started over a number of times, I call them drafts (ha) each gets better but ends at a stale mate. I want a writing partner. someone that reads what I write and sees my style and plot, suggest ways to make it better, or even challenges me to go a different direction, but isn't hurt when I say no, let's try again.


I like to think that this site has made me a better writer because I am starting to write tighter stories, and I win a few contests.


I guess I will give up for tonight and make potato salad with the stray spuds sitting in the box that I need to do something with. bye for now
