The tongue
holds the power
to spawn love
or stir up hate.

With just one word
the land can crumble;
With just one word
the land can rejoice.

The tongue,
its mighty throne,
moves to heal,
moves to kill.

But tamed by wisdom,
it knows all to well
staying still
is oft its will.
