2011 Year of the Screw Ups

It is not yet New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas and I am sitting at my computer contemplating the past twelve months. For me, this was the year of the screw ups. All right, maybe I did not manage to screw everything up; I will know this on Tuesday, January 3, when I can get back to doing business and straightening up the things I believe I have screwed up.

I may be looking at the dark side, because I do have a tendency to think a situation is worse then it really is. Because of the holiday and most businesses, except those that cater to tourist, have closed the only things I can do are pray and accomplish something around the house.

Today I made some calls and left messages (again) and I did not get a response. I also went to the wound care doctor again and have a bandage around my left leg, which I cannot get wet. My next appointment with the doctor is on Friday, January 6, after the Ultrasound appointment on Wednesday, January 4. Then I will find out if the problem with my leg has to do with the veins. In the mean time, I have other things to do.
