What am I Doing Here?

You have nothing to lose!

Well the countdown has begun. The people everywhere are decked out in 2012 eyeglasses and the celebratory items for the New Year's big moment. Wow! And where am I????? Here at home with my computer. But I must remember that was my choice. I could have gone out....alone and done anything I wanted. So I just have to say that I chose safety over having a blast. Or you might say getting into a head on confrontation that would have blasted me into eternity.
In all seriousness, I do not party much. I don't drink. And I would rather be safe and warm at midnight. I hope that the problems I had this year are well behind me. I do have blessing to be counted. I also think that next year is what I make it. As I have mentioned before, I must think positive. And if the Mayan calandar is right I only have about 358 days to tie up some loose ends, go on my hot air balloon trip and write an all American best novel. I just saw the weather and think that my trip will be scrubbed-again.
What is on for 2012?
The Olympics
The spring semester of school
A very important election
and maybe a scientfic discovery of significance for better health.
Wouldn't it be super if we cracked the cancer code and just kicked the suffering into history!
It would tickle me all colors of the rainbow if I won the lottery or a national prize.
I also would like to have discovered something worth all to better life in my home. Just a thought.
So make plans and do it. You have nothing to lose!
