What am I Doing Here?

What do you do when it rains?
When it really pours?
And I am not talking about the weather. I mean life! Problems! and things that drive you crazy.
January may have been the most unforgettable month that I really would like to forget.....if it wasn't for the VISA bill that I am looking at. I am not sure that all those numbers are not a mistake. I checked and double checked each item.
Is this what it costs to be a single person with a few pets and an old house that is wearing out? And wearing is not the best word because I can't put on a house like a dress.
This structure has been a real trooper. It has gone through several hurricanes, summers of droughts and a few winters of unbelievable cold, snow and what ever.
My house has not been changed too much. I was always saving my money for that rainy day, but other things got in the way.
So here's to the question. If it rains, you either put up your umbrella... ie insurance. Good luck! They have so many loop holes that the umbrella is no good.
You can stand under a tree, but I think the fear of being hit by lightning is emminent. That might be trauma to me as a person.
You can go back inside the house and hide under the bed, but wait a minute. Thought that life was supposed to be fun. Right?
You can throw away the umbrella and just get wet. You might not be a duck but sooner or later, the rain will stop and the sun will dry you off.
So hey there February. Maybe January was the wet month of this year for me. Maybe I might win the lottery. Maybe I'll find a nice, well to do gentleman who likes to take long walks and eat sandwiches. Yes and maybe aliens will come from outer space and take me to their home. (Get real girl!)
Just a thought.
Have a good February and think positive. Oh no!! I see that this is leap year.
