The Continuing Saga of Prosperous Snow |
Jamál (Beauty), 1 Ayyám-I-Há (Intercalary Days), 168 BE – Saturday-Sunday, February 26, 2012 about 8:55 AM Pacific Time It is Sunday, the first day of Ayyám-I-Há. I fixed Mom scrambled eggs, cheese, peanut butter toast and coffee for breakfast. I still have one pill to give her about 9:00 AM and then I do not have to worry about any more of her pills until 3:00 PM. It is a beautiful day outside. It is a nice day to go to a park and write poetry. Unfortunately, I cannot go to a park today. When we go out, I have to take Mom in her wheelchair, so that her oxygen tank goes with her. I cannot face getting Mom ready to go, putting her in the wheelchair, getting her into and out of the car. What poetry I write today, will have to be here at home. Mom wants some more water, so I have to check to see if there is any in the filter pitcher or in the regular pitcher. After that, I have to begin hanging up the clothes in the washer. I will hang them up on the clothes rack in the house. If I were going to as for anything for Ayyám-I-Há, it would be a clothes dryer. Oh well, I check at Lowes the next time I go to see how much one cost; maybe I can find a used dryer at a yard sale. |
