Synopsis:
         George Clooney stars as Matt King, a land Baron in Hawaii.  His wife is injured in a boating accident off Waikiki, and he must find a way to reconnect with his two daughters while she is hospitalized.  He is a direct descendant of the legendary King Kamehameha of Hawaii, a lawyer on Oahu, and has to cope with his other relatives as they come to vote on a selling a large portion of land on Kauai that only he can sign off on.  Some of the acting was not as good as I thought it could be, and a bit of the dialog was forced.  But as many of you might know, I love Hawaii.  So what made this special for me is that there was very little of the 'touristy' parts of Hawaii shown in the movie, and it featured a soundtrack with songs by Gabby Pahinui and the Makaha Sons Of Niihau.  If you love Hawaii, or Hawaiian music, I think you'll enjoy this movie.
