The Continuing Saga of Prosperous Snow |
March 18, 2012, Sunday, Day 18 ~ 30-Day Blogging Challenge prompt is DISCUSS SOMEONE ELSE'S BLOG ENTRY My favorite entry of the past week was by sunnystarr for "March 13, 2012: Prompt" . In this entry, Sunnystarr brags about her daughters. Raising children is difficult; I know this from watching my mother and remembering how my brothers, sister, and I acted. Even though I have raised no children, I know that being a parent is one of the most important jobs a person can have. Most parents do the best job they can under the circumstance. The next paragraph is focusing on mothers, I do not intend to disrespect fathers; however, in most of the world, it is the mothers who have the biggest responsibility for the children. The mother is the first teacher of the child. From the time, of conception to the age of maturity she has the job of instructing the child on the cultural and religious custom of the locality, family, tribe, and nation where they live. She assists the child in potty training and in polite behavior. A mother instructs the child in many things and that instruction will affect the child the rest of its life. The world and parenting are changing in several ways. No matter how much they change, the mother will remain the first teach of the child because she carries that child in her womb and children begin learning before they are born.
