What am I Doing Here?

Well the time is about 62 days later than before. Update:
Sir Thomas did have to be euthanized after several seizures. I had been taking him to GCVS and they did a remarkable job. I felt that he wanted to come home one more time, but the odds of him having a huge seizure and being in intense pain was not what I wanted.
His ashes are back. He has a beautiful little urn. I miss him.
Next, darling Teyla, the abused little dog has a new home. I did not realize it but she had that something that filled my life. Yes I miss her but I would not take her out of a home that she is probably very happy in. The friend, who helped her with the home-find, says that she can even go to play with other dogs. WOW. I am so happy for her. I hope that I made myself clear enough that if anything goes wrong, she comes back to me. No quesitons.
So it took me a while to get back to the routine that I had before. It is amazing. I have time to burn which I have decided to put to good use.
I had my taxes done. Check!
I have slept better. Check!
I am writing more. Check!
I am telling all the other little friends who live with me that I 'love' them also. Check!
I am substituting more. Check and hmmm!
I have also done more yard work. Check!
I am the captain of my own ship and I had better use this time wisely. Tomorrow is just that-tomorrow. There is no guarantee that I'll see the sun come up tomorrow. Today is now. I have been blessed with what I have. I plan to put it to good use.
