Transit of Venus

Monday night is a full moon night and Tuesday is the Transit of Venus. I work late both days---and start at 6:00am--so am up by 4:30. If not totally wiped out I want to try to go to the beach on Tuesday before sunset to possibly view the transit. I will not be alive for the next one. A sobering thought.

I pulled a card for these events and drew the Gaian Tarot's Emperor. It portrays a builder finishing the decorative carving of a doorway. I did not know how this might apply. I went to www.mooncircles.com and Dana states that this full moon and eclipse is about the quiet instincts of the Earth, and what she is trying to reveal to us. It is representd by "the hand of the craftsman choosing the right piece of wood, his hand hovers a moment over the chisel. It is about earthly need and loss. It is exactly the card I chose.

I plan to be at the Gulf Tuesday before sunset--anticipating what Mama Gaia has to show me.

And to thank God(dess), the Universe, the Divine by however we acknowledge it, for my new knees, the swift recovery, and the gift of being able to work and walk again without pain.
