Hello Shellyville,

Welcome to my small world. This little spot that I can unload and talk about myself. Yesterday, I got a review that said this was a little weird and strange. I suppose that is true. If you had no idea what a personal blog was about and you just happened across a few of my entries you would think this was strange. I know when I started writing a blog I felt that way. I wasn't sure what I would ever write.

Something about a public journal is a new concept. It's strange to think someone would just write about themselves. However, creative writing has been around for a long time. You know sometimes I am not writing about myself. I am writing about parts of me and parts of people I know. Writing every day reminds me that I am a writer at heart. It reminds me to get in touch with a part of me that is not as active as it used to be.

I will always consider myself a poet. Only can you be a poet if your not currently writing poetry? I am trying but I am not inspired. I need fantasy and drama to create good poetry and thankfully my life is dull at the moment.

Dull is a good place to be! For a minute...
