Field Day?

Hello Sunshine,

Did you ever have field day at school? Most likely they called it the end of the school year party? I think the best I got was packing a sack lunch and walking to the play ground to eat outside.

My kids have no idea how simple things were! Jackson's school has blow-up rides and hundred of outdoor games. Savanna's 8th grade class is gone all day to a local beach. Honestly. I think my kids are spoiled and I am so happy for them!

Why not party at the end of the year?

I can't say this was the kids best year in school but it wasn't as bad as it could have been. Jackson never went in the hospital. Savanna passed all her classes. To me that spells success. I think considering all the major adjustments my kids have had to endure for the last few years. I am proud of them for keeping it together in school. They could have really acted out and used the divorce as an excuse to screw up.

I am so blessed with understanding and loving kids. I am so glad this school year is behind us and now we can play and have fun the rest of the summer! Yeah!!
