It feels like home
Hello Sunny Pals,
I love my apartment and it feels like home. The kids have made new friends and I am so content. Last night I took some kids downtown for a walk and we stopped for dinner at Bagger Daves. Man I love that place. I am not even a hamburger kind of girl. I don't know it must be all the extra's you can get that make it taste so yummy. It's Jackson's favorite place so I knew he was excited. He even asked if he could get a coke. Normally, I don't let him drink pop but he said we were celebrating his successful end of the school year.
He was sad about saying goodbye to his friends. He showed me a paper that his classmates wrote and he started to cry. He is so sweet. All the nice words that the kids had to say about him was too emotional for him. He wanted me to throw the paper away but I convinced him to let me keep it and I put it away. I love it.
I love how much Jackson and I are alike. It might seem strange that we are but sweet words can undo us.
