Thursday, June 14, 2012, Day 14 ~ 30-Day Blogging Challenge prompt is "presidential election 2012. How is it going to go down?" The wounds of hatred Bleeding into campaign ads Party line = no compromise I am 65 years old. I have voted in every presidential election since I was 21. I have never seen so many vicious and hate filled campaign ads as this year. I am almost tempted to do one of two things on the first Tuesday in November. That is to either no vote at all or vote for none of the above. Of course, I will not do either. I will go to the polls and vote for someone. Truth is sacrificed Upon the alter of lies Patriotism = party line I am registered nonpartisan. When I moved to Nevada and registered in this state, I changed my party affiliation. I am glad I am not one of the soldiers on either side in this presidential campaign. I am collateral damage. The 2012 Presidential Election is tearing the United States apart. It is dividing it along socioeconomic and party lines. Small truths are woven so well into a tapestry of huge lies that it is difficult to tell the difference between truth and lie in any of the commercials.
