Shellyville Continues

Hot and busy?

Hello Sunshine,

Wow Summer has arrived in my sunny spot of the planet. I love it. I love the intense sweaty heat. I might be crazy but I am good with that. I am also very happy and surprised today.

I found out yesterday that Brian sent my sister's a text and said that they need to come to my graduation on Saturday. He said it was a big deal and that I would be really happy if I had some family support. Unfortunately none of my sisters can come this weekend so tonight they are coming into town to take me out to dinner.

I am really happy that they want to come here. I am always the one that drives to them. So tonight is kind of a big deal. Plus, I get to pick my favorite place to eat. I have no idea where that is going to be yet. My town is filled with excellent restaurants. Lucky me!

I do feel lucky and blessed and I know that I am making sense of a time in my life that is confusing. I am doing the best I can to be good to myself and my kids. I want to spoil them but realize the best way to spoil my kids is to be happy and present in their lives.
