Thursday, July 5, 2012 ~ Month 2012 Unofficial: FOLLOW ME BLOGGING CHALLENGE prompt is "Invalid Entry" by Emily Decisions, decisions, decisions Why is it there are always decisions? I can think of a great many people I would like to invite to dinner. Since I can only choose four I suppose I need to choose the ones I would like to have an intelligent conversation with, rather then those I would like to ask “What were you thinking when you made [that] decision? I would invite, Baha’u’llah the founder of the Baha’i Faith, who said “...The earth is but one country, and mankind its citizens.” (Tablets of Baha'u'llah, p. 167) I would invite, Scottish physicist Peter Higgs who proposed the existence of the Higgs boson (the God particle), which is important in understanding why matter has mass. I would invite, the Babi poet, Tahirih, who removed her veil in Iran sometime in the 1700s and died in 1752. Strangled her and body dumped in a dry well. I would invite, Isaac Asimov because he is one of my favorite science fiction writers. I think that is a good mix. It is educational the conversation would be stimulating.
