Monday, August 6, 2012 ~ Day 6 of the 30-Day Blogging Challenge prompt is "We are all come to Writing.com as writers, what books will you write?" Letters form into words, words into phrases, phrases into sentences, sentences into paragraphs, paragraphs into chapters, chapters into books, and books into.... I found writing.com by accident; at least I thought it was an accident at the time. I worked in a college computer lab and it was a slow day, so I was searching the internet. I came across stories.com; I saw that I could join free, so I joined. That was the wisest spur of the moment decision I have ever made. Then stories.com became writing.com. I finally purchased a basic membership, I decided I needed an upgraded membership, and now I am working on keeping a premium membership. As long as I focus and continue to work toward the goal, I will keep the premium membership. I have to because I have more items in my portfolio then I could hold in a upgraded membership portfolio. I will write books of poetry, science fiction, and fantasy. I have to write. The only thing I want to do is write stories and poems. Writing is an obsession. Writing makes me happy and sad. Writing gives me purpose. I have a story to tell and I must write it. When I inhale my last breath, I want to be sitting at a keyboard composing a story or poem. When they come for my body, I want them to find my sitting at a computer keyboard with my hands on the keys and my last poem or story saved on the hard drive. I want my obituary to quote the last words I wrote.
