Avoidance... When the steam runs out...

ME:

I'm okay. Just a bit out of steam.

I didn't get myself in gear for the Writer's group this evening, but I did go.

The rest of the day was spent at home avoiding doing what I need to do. In the end I at least got my WdC account paid. A bit nervous because I never know when there's going to be a glitch with my account or how I enter things on line. Today I just put in the year 2020 for my credit card expiration date. It isn't. But I caught the mistake before I freaked out.

I tried to cope with my avoidance by doing something else I've been avoiding. Got some cleaning done! And invited more WdC folks to be my friends on facebook.

The curse

...of facebook. I was advised that I'm getting Timeline whether I want it or not. Have until the 17th to straighten it out. Yes... it'll look prettier, but I'm more interested in communication and that means ease of navigating about, not how pretty it looks. I don't need to waste any more time on-line than I already do.

Writing:

Between multiple blog entries and an occasional poetic piece I'm exhausting myself. But this is good. I've done it before. When I had more ...and when I had less ...energy.

Goals:

Ha! Yeah, yeah. August is flitting away. I have to stop avoiding fulfilling ALL my goals. I'll feel so much better come September if I do.
