Tomorrow is Mothers Day.
...what will be closed?

ME:

Living in a different culture can be challenging. Things just aren't done the same way. Tomorrow is Mother's Day. Soda El Molino will be closed but many places in the market will be open. Wednesday is always the opening of the farmer's market ...but who knows?

Folks who have lived here know. But I can't assume and no one will tell me unless I ask. My friend Alberth works tomorrow ...more money; but, here? I'll just do what I can and not stress about it. There's nothing that can't wait till Thursday.

Mother's Day:

The Day of the Assumption of Mary. Of course! Which is why it's always the 15th regardless of the day of the week. People do make adjustments ...when to have a supper ...visit ...call. But Mother's Day in a country that is matri-local and matron-centric is one of the most important days. Mothers rule.

Olympics deprived:

Watching "Once Upon A Time" tonight but without the Olympics there is much less to watch. Back to reruns of Dr. House? It is futbol season here, so that helps. CNN is annoying some days. Very repetitious.

Nothing else...

Nope, nothing. *Moon*
