...September, I'll remember. ME: August has traditionally been one of my least favorite months. Hot and sticky where I grew up. Boring, having not seen my class-mates for over a month. No excitement weather-wise of otherwise (except for the flood when I was 11.) Shopping for school clothes was a pain. But today... sunny morning with a gentle breeze and absolutely lovely! And today is Mother's Day in Costa Rica (and the Catholic holy day, the Assumption of Mary). But... August die she must... I'm already thinking about Montana and making preliminary arrangements. Blogging: I no longer know where the Blog Page is. I have made my favorite blogs "favorites" (which helps a lot), including "The Blog Board" (which would help if more folks used it). I've also checked who is commenting and then gone to their blogs to read, comment and make a new favorite. That said... Blogging is not the same as twittering for me. I twitter at facebook. So much easier! There are a couple new bloggers who haven't quite figured out that a blog is a writing exercise not just a self-promotion page (it annoys) or place for links (think sausages) with no meat. I'd love to tell them-all that when I read "your" blog I want to know about you! No matter how mundane or boring that may be. (It won't be as boring to me.) I don't mind opinions or rants either ...just so long as it is your opinions or rants. I can read the news elsewhere ...and I do. There are many types of blogs. The best open up the heart or mind. The worse? Just a waste of time. Double blogging is challenging: I've done every challenge for "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUS" so far and have a blue month with this blog as well. I'm on a jet plane on September 2nd so I should be able to do something the morning of the 31st. I have also done entries at my other three blogs here. So, so far over 33 blog entries this month. I won't do this again in September, but it's great to stretch oneself occasionally. As one gets older it's called "use it or lose it". Stretching is good. Stretch it too far?
