[Lost in a loneliness without a canteen Visual experimentation]

Water springs
Swells
of remembered happy wells
                   Sun
                             Hot
         Dried
Blistered
Once a wet full cistern

Longing cuts deep
         And
                   Still
Forgotten springs of snow melt
                             Desert mirage
Smiling moisture
                             Gone
as suddenly when reached for.
