The southern hemisphere has less than five months before the radioactive and bio-contagions unleashed in the north contaminate and kill all life in the south... A humana project, secret world organization, designed to save a genetic, intellectual, and sociological cross section of humanity was set into motion before the missles flew. The story begins with over 1,400 people, members of 50 families from around the world, being stashed into a mountain vault somewhere in the Great Dividing Range of Eastern Australia. These people all received a winning lottery ticket for an all expenses paid private resort vacation downunder... 120927 09-28-12 @ 2:27 am EDT Concept: What if there was the total contamination of the world atmoshpere due to nuclear and bio-warfare holocaust and 50, 3-generational-family groups were all placed in an environmentally self-sufficient underground vault to wait out the radiation and biocontamination dispersal? Would they survive and thrive until it was again safe to emerge from the confines of the vault? How would their coping skills manifest and change the vault environment? What sort of problems would they face adapting to underground confinement with every aspect of their life changed forever, even to the point of what they now 'do for a living.' What effect on the older people inside the mountain, would the knowledge that the older generations of the initial family groups may never emerge from inside the mountain to again see the open world? 1 family group main character's 2 Brothers: Bill and Darren Bill; 30 yo; William James Dilliard, Jr.; Electrician Wife 24yo; Sapphire Willow RunningWolf Dilliard Oldest daughter 2 yo; Opal Rose Dilliard Son 6 mos.; Cougar Jasper Dilliard Darren; 25 yo; Darren Jason Dilliard; Diesel Mechanic wife 25 yo; Samantha Cynthia Rogers Dilliard Son 6 yo; Dillon William Dilliard daughter 3 yo; Sara Renee Dilliard Bill and Darren's Parents: William James Dilliard; 49 yo; Mechanical Engineer Agatha Christine Frost Dilliard; 47 yo; grade school teacher (3rd grade) Bill and Darren's Aunt and Uncle: Rebecca Dawn Dilliard; 32 yo; Historian--HS History Teacher; divorced no children Robert Kristoffer Dilliard; 40 yo; Dentist/Oral Surgeon; never married (Gay) Bill's in-laws: Sapphire's father: Adrian Moon RunningWolf; 48 yo; Linguist/Historian Professor of Native American Studies.; Widower Sapphire's Aunt and Uncle: Storm Skye RunningWolf Johnson; Adrian's sister; 40 yo; no children; Botanist; College Professor.
