Can't get to load!
Some days I can't get things to load right. I tried to update my main blog page and it wouldn't load my edit ...but it allowed me to add the "new" version as an entry... go figure. So here it is below until I can load it for real.

ME:

The smoke has cleared and fire season has been declared OVER!

I can now breathe.

But it is chilly. 40s, clouds and sun. Didna get up to 10 am because it was so dark.

*Reading*

A short story, "Valley of the Shadow" by Jennifer Roberson. Chilling. It makes perfect sense. Absolutely no sentimentality, short and well-written.

         Marked
                   as if you own me
I bow before the Bitterroots
and just like you
my rocky soil, my withered grass
lays prey to the empty sky.
