God works in mysterious ways his wonders to perform. I'm not sure where that quote come from, I'm not even sure I've quote it right, but that expresses my feelings about today's prompt. I've encountered a great deal of adversity over the past few months. It seems to be one thing right after another. I know that one is supposed to be thankful in adversity and I'm don't think I've focus enough on gratitude in times of adversity.

I'm not sure how long the difficulties I'm encountering will last. Sometimes I think they will go on forever, but that isn't possible adversity like anything else has its time limit. Adversity can't last forever because eventually a person would just give up. When adversity occurs it seems like forever, it seems like it will never end; however, adversity does end and a person is stronger for going through it.

I just have to keep on keeping on and eventually this adversity will pass. Adversity helps a person get his or her priorities in order. When things are going smoothly we sometimes set the wrong priorities, but when confronted with adversity we learn what is really important.
