The January 18, 2013 prompt for "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUS" is What does humor mean to YOU? What tickles YOUR funny bone? Is there anything you laugh at that others don't? To me humor is a sign of the human soul. To me humor is part of the survival instinct. For me humor relieves stress, depression, and embarrassment. For me humor is a part of who I am. For me almost anything can tickle my funny bone. My humor is sometimes weird and at other times off the wall. I am prone to hysterical laughter. The January 18, 2013 prompt for "Blogging Circle of Friends Prompt Forum" is Are you more likely to tell it like it is, or to hold your tongue? Speak up be a bitch, be a squeaky wheel. Speak up be heard and be seen. Speak up tell them how the cow eat the cabbage. Speak up under the proper conditions stand up for yourself. Speak up because silence is not always golden. Hold your tongue because sometimes silence is golden or, at least, silver. Hold your tongue unless you can speak hope rather then despair. Hold your tongue rather then speak insults, curses, or gossip. Hold your tongue rather then make fun of the less fortunate. Hold your tongue because it is less painful then biting it. Am I more likely to tell it like it is, or hold my tongue? The circumstances dictate my response. Thought for the Day: "It's no crime to protect yourself from someone else's mean-spiritedness."
