The May 15, 2013 prompt for "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUS" is Have you ever attended a school, class, or military reunion? Write about the experience of seeing people you once knew well but haven't talked to in years. Were they the same people now as then? Were you? Did you find yourself falling back into your old role from that time? I have never attended a class reunion of any type. Sometimes I think I have missed something and sometimes I think the opposite. I will reserve judgment until I have had a chance to attend a reunion. At my age, I am not sure whether I would enjoy the experience or not; I might find it amusing and a positive experience. I do not know because I have not yet attended a reunion. Perhaps I should write a story about a character attending a class reunion. That might be fun, I know one should write about what they know; however, I do not think that always holds true. At least, writing a story about it might encourage me to go to my next class reunion even if I have to fly half way across the country to attend. I have not been back to Shawnee, Oklahoma since I left and it might be fun to see what the town looks like now. Do I want to attend my high school class reunion? Sometimes I think yes and sometimes I think no; is this an issues about making a decision or is it that I just don't know. Do I want to attend my high school class reunion? Do I want to walk down nostalgia lane, remembering the way it was and what might have been? That might be a joyful and fun trip.
