Concrete Jungle- A Haibun attempt
As the man erects building after building, the trees find their roots in some forgotten corner. They flourish untended. Their derision for the squandering humans is expressed in their unconditional shade. They provide without question-- a resting place for rickshaws, a cool spot for car-parking, the only blob of greenery to sooth in the morning-- yet they are unwanted.
