Cage of Expectation

A glass cage encloses me--
A cage of expectation.
Little ones, huge ones,
Some from friends, some from family,
And some from my own self.
Each adds a bubble to create the glass,
Hardens it imperceptibly
I can break free if I wish,
But after traversing the molecular maze,
With thousand turns and obstructions
Breaking some, fulfilling some.
Freedom from this farce cage
Comes at a price.
Price of happiness or price of love.
