WDC Birthday Blogging WEEK! The September 3, 2013 prompt for "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUS" is If you could be 13 years old again, (in this time period) would you? If I were 13 again, would I really want to swim through the quagmire of teenage angst? The technology is a plus, I could ride an ITD1 instead of a bus. Is the technology worth the price of living through the terrible teens? Do I really want to be 13? Would I want to be 13 years old again? No! It is true that there are numerous advantages of being 13 in this day, but I do not think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. A major disadvantage of being 13 is facing the years between 13 and 19 in a world or culture that is going through maturing process at the same time you maturing. All right, if I were born in 2000 AD instead of 1946 AD, I might have a different view of the crises facing the world today and think that the present condition of the planet is normal. This does not change my answer, I still would not want to be 13 again. If I were 13 again, would need a survival plan to stop the bullies where the stand?
