The September 5, 2013 prompt for "Blogging Circle of Friends Prompt Forum" is Describe a favorite photograph you've taken or one some else has taken that you really enjoy. Please, share with us so we can enjoy it with you! I don't have very many pictures of my father and only one of him as a child. This is my favorite picture because it show Grandpa John and Grandma Belva with their children. My father is the child on the plow horse. The man holding him on the horse is Grandpa John, while Grandma Belva is the middle woman standing between the other four women. I am not sure about the names of the other people in the photo, but I know that at least two of them are Daddy's sisters. I think Grandma Belva was a second wife, so the other people in the photo could be Dad's brothers and sisters or they could be some other relation. I study the picture of Daddy, sitting on the plow horse his father lovingly hold him there. I miss not knowing Grandpa John or hearing stories of my father's childhood. I remember Grandma Belva, as an elderly woman who wore a flower sack apron while she baked bread in an iron kitchen stove.
