She pressed the blade deftly against his throat.
"Have you naught to say for your actions?"
"Left you two didn't I? Be grateful, I won't feed three extra mouths. Meet your senses and be about your duties wench. You'd be a fool to draw blood in daylight."
The blade came away wet with his blood.

Thoughts: she had triplets but the man either murdered it or sold (extra girl) to slavery, man's likely her husband
should I expand the story, perhaps she does kill him and his family hunts her down; she dies years later in the pursuit while still looking for the lost child, the 'twins' continue looking for their sister
Excess: His back to her he hadn't seen her stalk up until the blade was deftly pressed against his throat. 19
