Halloween Night?

Prompt: It is Halloween night and the lights go out? What sounds do you hear?

I hear a wolf howling in the yard. The wind is blowing and the screen door is making an awful banging noise. A tree limb broke off and crashed down on the shed. I look outside. The moon is full and I see a bat flying by the moon. I have lit three candles and my Coleman lantern is on. It gives off a bright light. Sounds like a jet plane just went over the house. The wolf is still howling. The doors are locked and the blinds are closed. My kitchen window has no blinds just a lace lighthouse curtain. I am not looking out that window again. I stay in the living room and carry my Coleman lantern with me. The wood floors make a cracking sound. My cat jumped over to her tower and it bumps against the wall. I hear a truck going down the road. The electric man! Someone knocks at the door. I won't answer. I throw a blanket over my head. Who ever was at the door left. Sounds like someone is walking on the roof. Lovely. All is quiet suddenly and the lights come back on. I feel safe again.
