Reflections: A Book

this is what happens when I think too much....

Was watching some recaps of this season's TUF 18
I feel a bit odd every time I enjoy a good fight and picture myself in it. Mark used to say he never understood my fascination with fighting. Makes me think that's only because he's so afraid of his 'beast'/inner demons. We all have them. I may have never been physically abused but I have the mental scars that can prove way more just as damaging. Thus:

"It's not physical pain that scares me, it's the emotional scars left behind that give me nightmares."

Anywho, I googled this phrase to ensure I had the right to coin it as my own. Found some similar and would like to share:

"Prison Break" star Wentworth Miller came out in August 2013 after being invited to attend the St. Petersburg International Film Festival in Russia. In the midst of massive anti-gay violence and legislation throughout the country at that time, he decided it was time to go public about his sexuality.

"Thank you for your kind invitation. As someone who has enjoyed visiting Russia in the past and can also claim a degree of Russian ancestry, it would make me happy to say yes," the 41-year-old wrote in a letter to the festival's director, which was posted on GLAAD's website. "However, as a gay man, I must decline."
