What are my thoughts on libraries?

Libraries are one of Earth's priceless treasures.
They are the measure
of the intelligence
of the population of a nation.

Do I still use my local library even though books are so easy to get electronically?

I still use my library, not as much as I would like, but I do still go just to walk around and inhale the fragrance of the books. In Las Vegas, the libraries display the efforts of local artist for everyone to see. Some of the libraries have little theaters where plays and poetry readings are performed. Even if I'm not looking for a book, I go to see the art and book displays.

Before writing this checked the website http://www.lvccld.org/ to see what the libraries had to offer. The Las Vegas-Clark County Library District is involved with the community and it encourages people to read. Yes, the local library is still a good resource for a writer and anyone else who wants to use it because it is involved with the community.

What is my favorite section in the library?

My favorite sections are the poetry, novel, and new releases.

Thought of the Day: "I spent three days a week for 10 years educating myself in the public library, and it's better than college. People should educate themselves - you can get a complete education for no money. At the end of 10 years, I had read every book in the library and I'd written a thousand stories." - Ray Bradbury
