An alternative word meaning peace, is camping.
Not much writing, reviewing or reading happening here as we've set up camp, expanding into a second camp site tomorrow, as our neighbors leave and our friends arrive.
There are seagulls hanging about hoping for scraps, and our dog had to be left at home; no pets here. Home is only a few streets away.
I sometime wonder what pets, or animals in general, would tell us if the could write books.
They do communicate I'm sure of it, it's just that we aren't savvy enough yet to get it.
Body language says a lot, tail wagging, ears back or pricked, growling and all that stuff.
The dog psychologist on YouTube is fascinating.
The biggest problem with communicating on any level for anybody, is lack of listeners or readers; interpreters.
But, like with camping and putting up with the basics, perhaps it's a good excercise, to pick up pen and paper, even a stick on the beach, and scribe a verse directly into the medium of dust from which we came, and will inevitably return.
As with cleaning, re-arranging of the dust is probably the best outcome we can hope for quite often.
Yes, it's pretend camping here but we needed the break, and the beach is inviting even if the water is way too cold here in Tasmania. That's my excuse anyway.
So, before my phone goes flat, I'd better upload a pic or two.
