Guns and Schools

Prompt: We are asked to write about guns, schools and shootings for this one. I will express my views about the problems and causes.

I hesitate to write about this one. TV. We have a lot of crime shows and if you ask me, the writers who write those have mental issues. If children watch these crime shows along with other shows about violence, it will feed their imaginations. Some kids feel threatened by bullies and steal a gun from their parents and carry it to school. If a bully keeps at them, he or she gets the gun out. When I went to school, only schools in big city had a problem with kids carrying guns to school. It is really sad. Each school should have a security guard or two. That would help. Parents should monitor what shows their kids watch. Hopefully, they still raise kids to know right from wrong. If parents own guns, lock them up and hide the keys. I am by no means an expert. These are the ideas I have. Maybe someday, kids, guns and schools will no longer be a problem.
