Blood pressure and editing. Who wins?

My son showed me a new game he's playing on his Samsung Galaxy Note called Plague.

Yes, a charming little bit of strategic "fun" whereby you view a world map, have control over the disease parameters such as transmission, evolution, heat resistance, paranoia in the host etc etc.

You also get to name the disease. So, to show me a game, he named the disease Coonabarabran. (That's this town where I was born, grew up on a farm an eternal distance from here (seemed that way on frosty school mornings) and am now sitting in the Macquarie Regional Library in this town's main street, typing up this blog.

So, Coonabarabran started off with only a couple of bacterial infections, because my son had set the symptoms very unnoticeable. He said if you make it too noticeable, it infects very quickly and causes deaths a lot quicker, but is picked up by the science / doctor mobs and a cure is found too quickly for you to "win" the game. *Worry* What are our kids being TAUGHT by these things??? Shriek!!

Why couldn't they just have harmless activities like our era such as Rock n Roll (with celebrity drug abuse), free love (STD's and orphans or aborted etc) and fast hotted up famous cars such as the Ford GTHO's and. Yes.

He lost the game after it spread across the globe, after he ramped up the symptoms and infection rates until the doctors caught on, began developing a cure, and he realised that for some reason Canada had not been infected much yet; perhaps the disease was not as cold resistant as he would have liked.

Early in the game it said, Coonabarabran has not been noticed. Well, that's fairly normal. I'd say if a volcano erupted like Mt Vesuvius, if they dug down and found this place after a few millennia, they'd just say, "oh, here was their rubbish tip!"
And at the end of the game it said, Coonabarabran has been eradicated. Hmmmm.
I was thinking, I put a lot of foul smelling brown material on Coonabarabran, my dearest home town. And that's OK. But if anyone else did I'd be quite upset. For even a minute.

My son. The evil disease developer. Yep. Cheerful when I'm looking after my own elderly ailing mum, dad's having cancer treatment, I'm on nutter medication, and the world in general is going down the toilet on a sidecar in a hand basket.

You can tell I'm a bit low on blog stuff eh? *Bigsmile*

But it's like all writing. Just relax on it. Something always turns up. Humans are weird.

Just saw a Meme on Facebook about poets.

Roses are Red.
Wine is red.
Poems are hard.
Wine.

That about sums up life for me at the moment.

To add to my whinge about spell check and prompting trying to tell me some words are naughty, with red lines under them, I just noticed the ones in this blog post.
Coonabarabran
Macquarie
GTHO's
ramped
realised
millenia (which I was sure is a word, but www.dictionary.com argued or didn't seem to show it)
Hmmmm
{e:bigsmile) yes i used a plain bracket here so it would still appear as raw code.
