DAY 479 - MARCH 12TH PROMPT

Prompt: Laptop or desktop?


I haven’t had a desktop for over ten years. The laptops are portable but not durable. This is my fourth Laptop. I recently had to have a virus removed at the price of $150 and purchase another fire wall for another $150.
But it works again. The worst part of the virus removal was having to wipe all my documents and files. Why don’t I EVER learn to save and back up my stuff?
Wait I do have files backed up but they are on floppies. Who uses floppies anymore? I even had to repurchase Microsoft works. At least now I have cloud storage but good grief even that costs money.
So I have these cute little jump drive kizzies but I misplace them all the time or forget to back them up with the latest versions of my work so when I do reach for them they are worthless because things were edited and oh waaaaaaa

I miss the paper days. At least then I could manually redline/black out and rewrite and have a hard copy. I know I can and should have paper but at the cost of printer ink……?
