Mardi Gras

I would love to go to Mardi Gras. I would wear a purple and pink dress with lavender trim and it would be fun to dance and pretend that you are a Queen. Maybe act like a vampire for fun. I bet there would be food there and music. I have never been there but maybe they hold contests, read your fortune and pass out prizes for the prettiest dress. Maybe I would wear Jane Austen type gloves, carry a fan, wear my long red hair down and have a lavender pretty mask over my face or maybe a white one. I would love to buy masks and I could start collecting them. I would definitely want the beads in purple, green and blue. I would like to visit Anne Rice's house while I am there in New Orleans and just meet her and hang out with her. I would probably stay away from the swamp. Voodoo isn't for me and alligators, either. I like a little mystery and adventure and hopefully, I would find both there at Mardi Gras in town. I am sure there are beautiful fancy houses there and other places of interest. Maybe someday I will find out.
