Poison Ivy

He grabs her by the wrist,

as if yanking a big vine
using his weight for mastery,

as if in middle ages,
to check for the knife
inside her sleeve,

as if to evade her seductive touch
or his obsession for weak women,
weak women who conceal
their venom, until he touches.
