Greatest Misconception About Me
Prompt: What is the greatest misconception about you?

People think because you are an only child, that you are spoiled and a snob. I was an only child {my sister came into my life when I was in my 40's} and I was spoiled. I was always respectful to adults and I had friends. I never made fun of other children. I couldn't always pronounce words when I was a kid and other children laughed at me. I took Speech Class and it helped. I help others who are in need of help. I have always tried to be nice to other people. I try to be helpful. I never try to hurt people. If I do, it is an accident and I do apologize. Military kids aren't Military Brats. Do you know how many civilian kids I have met who are brats? Quite a few. Military kids don't see their fathers much. My mother spoiled me but I didn't have my father. He was always away somewhere. Not his choice. The old saying is true. You don't know what another person's life is like until you have walked a mile in their shoes. Military kids didn't choose their life. Their parents did. This is my soap box speech for the day. Thanks for reading.
