The Fisrt Time I Didn't Take A Job - Not The First Goodbye
What would I tell my younger self when I was offered my first job?  Hmmmm.  *Confused* *Frown*  I guess I would have to say, "Don't bother.  You're just going to work too hard, try to do too much, try to impress everyone, get tired of it, and move on.  Just tell them goodbye and go out and play."

When I woke up, or, I should say, came to,  I saw the note on the bedside table.  It said:  "Goodbye.  We won't be back.  We're sure you know why."  Well. I had no idea 'why', but I wasn't surprised.  So many times in my life someone has said something to me, or about me, which has astounded me, hurt me, embarrassed me, or any number of other things, and I have had no idea what they were talking about.  They just expected me to know.

Book I finished today:  Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki, by Haruki Murakami.
