Resplendence


She is the golden Sun that brings
health, happiness and joy to life.
Her trees with leaves of many hues
bear the eye-filling soothing light.

Her paths of bewitching beauty
glow with autumnal glamour
of gold, green and a velvety brown
of the slanting sizzle of eventide.

She is fresh and fragrant, the dew
that glistens on the grassland,
the flowers of the wild dotting
the tall hill and the curvy dale.

My very own loving Nature!
The protective, warm guardian
Of my mind and body and soul!
I love thee true.
