Day drags on, long and tiring,
Ready to fall, to crawl under the sheets
To find darkness in the oblivion of sleep
But first a moment to pray and give thanks
For the blessings that come my way
For the life I have and opportunities I'm given
To live and practice gratitude
In the small things and the large
For the mercy that graces my life.

I am off to my cousin's wedding. If I return before midnight, I will add more.
