I have posted my response to MHWA Mental Health Challenge and other items to this journal. |
** Image ID #2014892 Unavailable ** I intended to compose this entry on December 17, which was Day 9 of this challenger. However, life, procrastination, lack of planning, and going to be early prevented me from completing it. Therefore, I think this song by Alvin and The Chipmunks is appropriate. I never did want a plane that loop de looped, but I did want a hula hoop. In fact I had a hula hoop which I never could get to keep going for more then a couple of seconds at a time. I don't think my sister or my brother ever wanted or got a plane that loop do looped. I seem to remember one of my brothers getting some kind of model plane once, but I can't remember what kind of plane it was. We always got gender appropriate toys. My sister and I received dolls while my brother received toy soldiers and toy guns. We also received clothes for Christmas, but we never ask for clothes. If someone ask me today what I want for Christmas or my birthday I usually tell tell them clothes, food gifts, or something else that I find practical and enjoyable. It's amazing how one changes as they mature because when I was a child practical and enjoyable were never in the same sentence. |
